Branching Out: A Lucky Find

I was so excited to find these white tree branch lamps recently at Goodwill. West Elm had a very similar lamp priced at $80 a few years ago.

West Elm’s version

I think mine must be 70’s era. I also lucked out finding some absolutely perfect mustard-colored drum shades for them at the same time. I’m not sure the two went together because they were in separate places in the store, but I think they are just made for each other.

On a separate note, the photograph behind the lamps is of Terminal Tower in Cleveland, Ohio. My husband and I are both from Cleveland even though we met here in Atlanta. I figured it was a subtle way of introducing some history. I found the photo at the archives website of the Cleveland Library and had it blown up and printed. Then I just mounted it on some plywood with spray adhesive. Cheap and easy!
